Seoul, Korea – SHINEE’s TaeMin decided to drop out of Chungdam High School.
It was discovered that TaeMin had dropped out of the school last February. The reason was because of his celebrity activities, he had racked up too many absences for an ordinary high school.
He decided instead to head to an arts school that was more lenient and understanding of students who pursued celebrity activities at the expense of attending classes.
In particular, because SHINEE is set to intensely prepare for their Japanese debut, it would have been very difficult for TaeMin to continue to have attended Chungdam High School. His agency, SM Entertainment said, “TaeMin’s reason for dropping out of Chungdam was solely to transfer to another school.”
Meanwhile, SHINEE is currently preparing for their Japanese debut.
